This 69 Camaro SS is many things…subtle ain’t one of em – and we like it that way.

Location: Pacific Stereo in Riverside, CA

Creating a system hat compliments a 69 Camaro SS is as easy as it is fun, unless you're competing with the rumble of a 600 horsepower Stroker engine. Time to up the game a bit and get loud.

Adding a Kenwood KDC-255U CD receiver was the first step. With an aux input and USB port on the face of the receiver, playing music from a smartphone or portable music source is easy.

We then hid a Kenwood KAC-5206 amplifier under the seat for that extra power it so desperately needed. With 60 watts per channel available, the next step was to add speakers to the back deck.

Mounting a pair of JL Audio TR690-TXi 6”x9” speakers behind factory grilles, the Camaro finally had the audio power to hear the tunes, even with the roar of that monster under the hood.

Now that the audio was covered, it was time to protect the investment. A Viper 3105V security system was added to the Camaro, as well as new pinswitches to protect every point of entry including the hood, trunk and doors. A starter kill and siren were added as well, ensuring that the car – while armed – was going nowhere.

The ride sounds sweet (even sweeter with the engine idling), and now, it's ready to cruise all year long.

Package price: $1040
