Vozsis with Amazon Alexa

Vozsis is a smartphone app available for both iOS and Android OS devices that brings Amazon Alexa capability to compatible Weblink-enabled Pioneer® multimedia in-dash receivers. Downloading both the Vozsis and Weblink applications makes using Alexa in your car simple – just tap-and-ask, and Alexa will respond instantly.

With Alexa, you can ask to play music, hear the news, check weather, control smart home devices, and more. Alexa lives in the cloud, so it’s always getting smarter, adding new capabilities that are delivered to your device automatically. Apple® CarPlay

The DMH-2660NEX features Apple® CarPlay, the smarter, safer and more fun way to use your iPhone® in the car. Apple® CarPlay gives iPhone users an incredibly intuitive way to make calls, use Maps, listen to music, and verbally send and listen to messages with just a word or a touch. Apple® CarPlay requires iPhone 5 or newer with the latest version of iOS.

Android Auto™

The DMH-2660NEX also features Android Auto™, which extends the Android platform into the car in a way that’s purpose-built for driving. Android Auto™ automatically brings you useful information and organizes it into simple cards that appear just when they’re needed. It’s designed to minimize distraction so you can stay focused on the road ahead.

Android Auto™is compatible with Android phones running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later. Android Auto™may not be available on all devices.

Pandora®

Pandora is personalized internet radio that is designed to help you discover new music that you'll love mixed in with music that you already know. With the DMH-2660NEX, you can enjoy superior sound quality and full control of the Pandora® experience in your car directly from the touchscreen display of the receiver. You are able to give tracks "thumbs up" or "thumbs down," bookmark a song so you can purchase it later, easily switch between your personalized radio stations, and view full track data and album art.

Pandora is compatible with Apple® iOS, as well as Android devices via Apple® CarPlay and Android Auto™. Simply download the free Pandora® Radio app to your iPhone or Android device, connect to the DMH-2660NEX and take your music to the next level.

Spotify®

With Spotify® being a dedicated A/V source on the DMH-2660NEX, you now have the ability to control content from the Spotify® app on iPhone and Android devices. You can play, pause and skip tracks, and browse playlists, albums and radio stations on the go using the Pioneer controls. If you are a Spotify® premium user (requires a monthly paid subscription), you can enjoy ad-free, high quality music and even download music and listen offline when there is no internet connection.

HD Radio®

The DMH-2660NEX features a built-in HD Radio® tuner, which allows you to enjoy your radio in an all-new way. Besides broadcasting in clear digital quality, many stations offer extra local FM channels so you can enjoy more music, news, and sports – all 100% subscription FREE! Your FM stations now with near CD-quality sound (on single channel stations), AM stations now in stereo and sounding like FM stations, and crystal-clear reception with no audio distortion.

SiriusXM

The AVH-3500NEX is SiriusXM-Ready® so you can get over 140 channels, including commercial-free music, plus the best sports and live events, comedy, news, exclusive talk and entertainment. SiriusXM programming is received through the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner (sold separately, SiriusXM subscription required).

iDataLink® Maestro™

Keep your factory features and expand your level of in-vehicle connectivity with Pioneer NEX and iDatalink® Maestro™ RR. When your DMH-2660NEX receiver is installed in a compatible vehicle using the iDatalink® Maestro™ RR interface (sold separately), you’ll be able to enjoy the performance and features of the DMH-2660NEX receiver plus touchscreen control over key factory audio features.

The DMH-2660NEX supports factory functions via the iDatalink® Maestro™ RR interface including: Steering Wheel Controls, Media Player (including the factory AUX-in and USB ports), Hands-Free Telephone, Voice Commands, Satellite Radio, and Secondary Display Support.

Bluetooth®

Stay safe and obey local hands-free laws with built-in Bluetooth® (HFP). Easily pair a Bluetooth® enabled phone to the DMH-2660NEX without having to go through complicated settings. When a registered Bluetooth® device is in proximity to the receiver, the auto connection function automatically pairs the two units.

From hands-free calling, wireless audio streaming (A2DP) with artist, album, and song search, simple pairing, and control audio (AVRCP profile), Bluetooth® wireless technology has made life in the vehicle much more convenient.

The DMH-2660NEX with Bluetooth® also includes superior call quality reception using Wideband Speech Handsfree Profile 1.6. Wideband Speech nearly doubles the bandwidth of frequencies of a normal Bluetooth call (when compared to calls without Wideband Speech). Other features include the ability to browse music libraries on smartphones wirelessly.

Back Up Camera

Back Up Camera input enables you to add a rear-view camera, with the system automatically switching to a full-screen image of the rear view when the car is placed in reverse gear. The full-screen image returns to the source screen last in use when the vehicle is taken out of reverse gear.

Second Camera Input

The DMH-2660NEX has an additional input where you can add a second camera. The second camera view can be activated at any time and has many potential uses including monitoring a tow vehicle, providing a side view for better lane visibility.
